    Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL) is a coal producer company based in India. The company was founded in 1975 to make the national institution of coal mines in India.     • Visit Coal India Limited eProcurement portal.
    • Scroll down and select ‘Tenders by Organisation’ button on the left side of the screen.
    • Now, a screen will appear where you can apply for various filters as per your business requirements and apply for tenders accordingly.     Registration process of ECL tenders

    Before you start bidding for Eastern Coalfields Ltd. or ECL tenders, you must have to enroll your company as a bidder on the Coal India Limited (CIL). Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL) is a subsidiary of Coal India Limited (CIL). CIL is a state-owned coal mining corporation in India.  And, as a subsidiary of CIL, Eastern Coalfields Limited functions under its administrative control. This relationship allows ECL to be a part of the larger network of coal mining and production that falls under Coal India’s umbrella.

    Here’s a step-by-step guide to register on the CIL e-tender portal:

    1. Visit the official website of Coal India Limited e-procurement portal at- https://coalindiatenders.nic.in/nicgep/app
    2. Select the ‘Online Bidder Enrollment tab,’ under the log in button
    3. Fill in the mandatory details in the online form and complete the online registration (fields marked with a red asterisk are compulsory)
    4. Once you submit the form, you’ll receive an activation request on your email
    5. Now, review and confirm your details under ‘Bidder Enrollment Acknowledgement’
    6. Select the ‘Send Verification Code’ button
    7. After that, you need to set up a new password using the code received via email
    8. Finally, log in again with the new password to confirm your registration

    Note: CIL or ECL does not charge any enrolment fees. However, you need to remember that a class III DSC is mandatory for all e-tendering purposes. You can easily obtain a DSC certificate via Cas (Certifying Authorities) such as V-sign (Verasys), eMudhra, National Informatics Center (NIC), etc.

    Logging-in to e-tender portal

    Once you have registered on the CIL e-tender portal, you can login using the credentials you have created.

    • Visit the tenders coalindialimited nic in the webpage
    • Now, scroll down to the ‘Supplier/Contractor login’ section
    • Enter your Login ID and Password
    • Enter the verification code (captcha) provided
    • Click ‘Sign In’

    Note: If you are unable to remember your password, you can use the ‘Forgot Password’ option to quickly reset your password.
